KIT LIST
We recommend the following kit list:
KIT FOR ON THE SPEEDBOAT TOUR
All passengers will be supplied with life jackets; which is compulsory for your extra comfort and safety.
In addition to this we would ask you to please dress appropriately for the weather conditions on the day of your speedboat tour.
Sensible clothing and footwear should be worn at all times. This is highly recommended and will be particularly important on cold, wet and windy days.
KIT FOR THE SPEEDBOAT TOUR AND ISLAND VISIT
As above but please be prepared for walking on wet or muddy ground.
You may also wish to bring insect repellent or midge spray.
KIT FOR THE SPEEDBOAT TOUR AND MEAL PACKAGE
As above but on bad weather days we would recommend waterproof layers that can be quickly and easily removed when stopping for food.
KIT FOR THE SPEEDBOAT PUB TOUR
Sensible clothing and footwear should be worn at all times. This is highly recommended and will be particularly important on cold, wet and windy days.
Please note that some of the pubs have their own jetty right next to the water, whereas others will involve walking for 5 minutes.
As such please be prepared for walking on wet or muddy ground.
DRINKING IS NOT PERMITTED ON THE BOATS.
KIT FOR THE ISLAND BBQ PACKAGE
Sensible clothing and footwear should be worn at all times. This is highly recommended and will be particularly important on cold, wet and windy days.
The island bbq package is a self catering event.
To start with you will enjoy a short speedboat transfer from Luss to the island where one of our staff will greet you and act as your ‘host’ for the day.
There are toilet facilities on the island but Loch Lomond Leisure Scotland will provide all BBQ equipment, tables, chairs, gazebo and rubbish bin etc.
The visiting group will be responsible for bringing their own food and drinks in a cool box and to cook their own food. Please also bring paper plates and cutlery.
KIT FOR THE ISLAND FUN DAY
The island fun day incorporates a boat tour, treasure hunt, highland games and meal.
Sensible clothing and footwear should be worn at all times. This is highly recommended and will be particularly important on cold, wet and windy days.
Please be prepared for walking on wet or muddy ground.
Please bring water proofs.
Please bring a change of clothes and towel.

- Camera
- Sunglasses (if sunny ;)
- Suntan lotion
- Midge spray
- Waterproofs
On extremely wet days you may also wish to bring a towel for your seat.
